ICE Eliza Platts-Mills is a dedicated clinical law teacher specializing in pro-bono commercial law, focusing on IP, corporate, commercial, and data protection advice for entrepreneurs. With a passion for assisting law students in applying their theoretical legal knowledge into practical client-centered legal solutions, she aims to serve clients who lack financial resources for legal services.

Her educational background includes a JD in Law from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Master’s Degree (LLM) from the Georgetown University Law Center, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies with Magna Cum Laude honors from Harvard University.

ICE Eliza Platts-Mills has held various key positions in reputable organizations, including being a Teaching Fellow at qLegal, a former Manager at the Community Led Homes National Advice Centre within the National CLT Network, and a former Clinical Professor at the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law. Additionally, she has served as a Graduate Fellow/Attorney Supervisor at the Georgetown University Law Center, a Fair Housing Staff Attorney at the Washington Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs, and a Honors Attorney within the Antitrust Division, Health Care Task Force at the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to these roles, she worked as a Law Clerk for Chief Judge Jerry Buchmeyer at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and served as an Americorps Member at AmeriCorps VISTA.
