Ida Benedetto is an experienced director and design strategist known for her work in creating high-stakes meetings, adventures, and celebrations that foster innovation and change. She has a passion for pushing people beyond their limits through good design.

Her expertise in experience design has led her to work with prominent clients such as BlackRock, Starbucks, IBM, Google, Facebook, and more. Ida's innovative approach has been recognized in various publications and educational institutions, including Harvard, Carnegie Mellon, and NYU.

Beyond her professional life, Ida is a 5th-generation New Yorker who enjoys kayaking, reading library books, and volunteering as a conflict mediator for the New York Peace Institute. She was voted 'most likely to discover time travel' in junior high.

Ida's educational background includes an MA in Design Research, Writing, and Criticism from the School of Visual Arts, a BFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design - The New School, and a BA in History from The New School.

Throughout her career, Ida has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as being a faculty member at the MFA IxD at the School of Visual Arts, the founder and director of Uncommon Places Design, a design strategist at SYPartners, and many more.

Her professional journey has also seen her involved in impactful roles like being a design sprint and innovation specialist at MESA, an organizational change director at NOBL Collective, a lecturer in designing organizational culture at Stanford's d.school, a strategy director at The Rockefeller Foundation, and a researcher-in-residence at the New Museum of Contemporary Art.
