Igor Shumskiy is a dedicated advocate for transforming the American healthcare system to address the needs of low-income families and reduce health and economic disparities.

His inspiration comes from his grandmother, a pediatrician in Ukraine, and his experiences running a non-profit in the Peruvian Amazon and serving Medicaid beneficiaries in Boston's safety-net hospital.

Igor aims to redefine person-centric care and welcomes collaborations with like-minded individuals to drive change in healthcare.

His educational background includes Pediatrics Residencies at Boston Children's Hospital and Boston Medical Center, a Post Graduate Medical Educators Course at Harvard Macy Institute, an MD from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, and a BA in Mathematics and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Professionally, Igor has held roles such as Neonatal Perinatal Fellow, Pediatric Hospitalist, Chief Medical Officer, and Co-Founder, showcasing his diverse experiences in healthcare and leadership.

He has been involved with organizations like Our Inner Lives, Banner Health, C Space, Nurse-1-1, and Nella Health, demonstrating his commitment to improving healthcare delivery and outcomes.

Igor's past engagements also include serving as Acute Care Pediatrician at Boston Children's Hospital and leading initiatives at CU Peru.

Through his varied experiences and passion for healthcare innovation, Igor Shumskiy is a visionary striving to make a positive impact on healthcare accessibility and equity in the United States.
