Her academic background includes a diverse range of studies, such as Post Graduate Study in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Buenos Aires, a Master's in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master's degree in International Affairs with a focus on Peace and Security from Universidad Torcuato di Tella.

Ilaina Rabbat also enriched her education by attending the Summer Institute for the Advanced Study of Nonviolent Conflict at Tufts University, among other academic pursuits.
