Thrilled to announce that I have joined the Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) External Affairs team! I am honored to be supporting Dean Robert A. Harrington, who is #Cornell provost for medical affairs, an esteemed cardiologist, clinical researcher, former president and current board member of the American Heart Association, an innovative health advocacy leader I studied at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Onboarding has been inspiring as WCM empowers its diverse staff to thrive.
Walking along York Ave. this week I’ve been thinking about how WCM applies lab breakthroughs to the clinic at a stunning pace, as well as how the world-class faculty are also building a social, healthy, and fulfilling educational environment for our students, the next generation of medical providers, bioscientists and researchers of population health. I can’t wait to tell you more about our centers of innovation and advancement in the Empire State’s corridor of science and around the globe.
For this role, I am excited to spend more time in New York, New York, near my childhood home and work with a fun, collaborative team led by Dan Dickinson focused on the best way to care, discover, and teach.
