Sophomore women in business! Bain & Company is hosting a leadership program, called Connecting & Resourcing Empowered Women (C.R.E.W.), designed for sophomore / second-year undergraduate women. The goal of the program is to allow young women the opportunity to tap into a network of dynamic, ambitious women and develop their own leadership potential.

As a woman of color in business, my network and support system mean everything to me. The women I've been able to meet and work with at Bain are absolute powerhouses, and I am so grateful for the mentorship I have received from them.

So so excited about the launch of this program, as I know it will allow other young women like me to experience the same energy and empowerment I have been exposed to thus far at Bain SF. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity!

A little over 4 years ago, I volunteered to be featured in a book authored by the incredibly talented, Margaret Rooke, entitled "You Can Change the World! Everyday Teen Heroes Making a Difference Everywhere." At the time, I was an aspiring journalist, and it meant so much to me to work with someone like Margaret, who was so driven to leverage her literary talent to lend a platform to me and other teens to share our stories with the world and serve as sources of inspiration for others.

I recently found out that Margaret's book had been one of few selected by a panel in the UK to be made available in every library in England to promote visibility and advocacy for the mental health and well-being of teen youth. This literary initiative, known as Reading Well, launched this national booklist earlier this month to support teen mental health in a post-pandemic context.

Her book will soon be published in Russian as well and has also been awarded the Gold Moonbeam Award for multicultural nonfiction in the USA!

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Margaret for this immense accomplishment and thank her again for allowing me the platform to influence and empower other young folks around the world. I hope to one day be able to also channel my own passion for writing and give life to the voices and narratives of others around the world.
