Immanuel Williams is a lateral thinker with a background in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Power Electronics and Power Systems. He pursued a minor in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

His research interests include multiphysics problems in rotating electrical machines, computational electromagnetics, and the design of electric drives. Immanuel worked as an intern at Honeywell, focusing on the design of a PMSM drive for controlling end-effector motion.

Immanuel has a wealth of experience in the teaching domain, having served as a Teaching Assistant for various courses at different academic levels. He has a strong interest in continuing to contribute to society through teaching while pursuing his research passions.

Currently, Immanuel is enrolled in a Semester Exchange Programme at Aalto University and is working towards completing his Master's Thesis. He previously studied at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he excelled academically in Power Electronics and Power Systems.

Immanuel's educational journey includes pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and being an Exchange Student in Electrical Engineering at Aalto University. Furthermore, he has a rich academic background from his time at Hiranandani Foundation School.

Professionally, Immanuel has been involved in various organizations such as being a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Teaching Assistant at Aalto University and Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, a Summer Intern at Honeywell, and taking up roles in different capacities at academic events and organizations.
