She currently serves as the Director of the Field Research Network for the Carbon to Sea Initiative, a significant nonprofit R&D project addressing climate change.

Prior to this role, Irene was the Executive Director at the Institute for Abundant Oceans, focusing on blue natural capital development.

She was also a founding member and co-leader of AGO, a nonprofit accelerator advocating for a more just and sustainable world.

Irene excels in unlocking imaginations, navigating ambiguity, and building consensus while conceptualizing, testing, and scaling successful programs.

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Economics from NYU Stern School of Business, Irene has garnered 15 years of experience in strategy development and implementation.
