Time for me to ring the bell 🔔! I'm looking for my next job in consulting.

After a rewarding sabbatical practicing the art of Muay Thai 🥊 in Thailand, I’m thrilled to start writing the next chapter of my career 📚.

With over ten years of consulting experience, I’ve honed skills in change management, leadership development, and performance management, successfully leading projects for large organizations across various industries.

My background includes working with boutique consulting agencies, where I managed diverse responsibilities from project management and entrepreneurship to mentoring junior colleagues and delivering comprehensive strategies.

I’m particularly interested in roles within multidisciplinary teams, where I can drive lasting change and continue learning from the best while sharing my expertise. I’m seeking consulting opportunities in for-profit environments that emphasize both the soft and hard aspects of change.

I thrive in action-oriented environments that value existing best practices and innovative solutions to tackle challenges head-on and achieve progress collaboratively. A role that allows me to further develop my leadership skills, take on project lead positions, and help my team members grow while advancing my employer’s strategic goals would be incredibly energizing.

If you know of any opportunities or if you’re open to networking, I would love to connect. Feel free to reach out! 🤝

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to connecting!

📢 To all managers tasked with upcoming end of year performance reviews: are you positioning the right people to lead your company? 🤔

Give this article a read and let it help you make informed decisions. 👍

Summary: The next time you are filling a leadership role, ask yourself three questions. First, does the candidate have the skills to be a high-performing contributor or the skills to be an effective leader? The performance level of individual contributors is measured largely through their ability, likability, and drive. Leadership, by contrast, demands a broader range of character traits, including high levels of integrity. Second, can you really trust this candidate’s individual performance measures? The number one indicator of performance in most companies is a single subjective rating by a direct manager. This makes measures of performance vulnerable to bias. Finally, are you looking forward or backward? The secret to selecting great leaders is to predict the future, not to reward the past. That’s why you should promote high-potential people, not just top performers.
