Iris Vold is a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied Cognitive Science, Data Science, and Entrepreneurship and Technology with a keen interest in understanding how technology impacts our lives.

During their time at UC Berkeley, Iris explored the convergence of Computer Science, Neuroscience, Linguistics, and social sciences to gain a holistic perspective on the intersectionality of these fields.

Iris Vold has a diverse educational background, including attending the University of Oslo for an International Summer School Program, Kamiak High School, and the School Year Abroad (SYA).

They have been involved in various organizations and roles, such as the Good Tech Scholars Program at IBM, Internal Vice President and Lead Consultant at DataStory, Outreach Team Director at The Conscious Coffee Project, and Research Assistant in the Kidd Lab at UC Berkeley, among others.

Iris Vold has gained practical experience through roles like Congressional Affairs Intern at Internet Education Foundation, Visual Recognition Software Intern at Northwest Marine Technology, and Extern for Lawyer of Technology Privacy Council at Common Sense Media.

Additionally, they have contributed to different initiatives such as serving as the External Philanthropy Chair at Kappa Alpha Theta, Freshman Outreach Officer for ASUC Senator Campaign at Student Action, and Social Media Chair for Pointe of Berkeley.

Iris's varied experiences have equipped them with skills in research, design, outreach, philanthropy, social media, and policy advising, positioning them as a versatile professional ready to embark on the next chapter of their career.
