Highlights
I'm really excited to share that I'm moving to Save the Children International 🌍 in September as the Global Head of Integrated Strategy & Planning 🤝
I'm obviously happy to be staying in the Save the Children family, and to be able to keep supporting lasting change for and with children - it's work that I care deeply about and there is still so much for us to do and spaces we can make real impact.
I'm also thrilled to be working across global markets - and can't wait to get to know colleagues across the globe who are united by our impact and change for children! 🧒🌏💓
And although I'm sad to "leave" Save the Children (UK) because I have colleagues and friends there that I value HUGELY, I know that we can continue to work together, and it does mean that there is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take on my role as Brand Marketing & Integration Lead!! 🙌 It's a creative, people-focused job that makes a huge difference to how we leverage our 100+ year-old-brand to raise vital funds for children - exciting and at the heart of Save the Children UK's strategy!

Hearing Tamsyn Hanrahan talking about how Save the Children has helped ban (criminalise) child marriage in Sierra Leone is possibly the best way to start the week... 🙌🙌🙌
Can't think of many better examples of lasting change for children than a commitment from a country, who has one of the highest child marriage, early pregnancy and maternal mortality rates in the world, to protect girls' futures for generations to come. ❤️
“Children have now stood up and said: “Give us our futures back.” And thanks to them, this will be a new reality for nearly four million children across Sierra Leone.” Patrick Analo @save_children Sierra Leone Country Director
This is all thanks to an incredible coalition of girls, partners, parliamentarians and with the leadership of Her Excellency Fatima Maada Bio - the most inspiring reminder of the kind of lasting change we can make for children when we refuse to give up on their futures.
Thank you Tam for such an inspiring start to the week 👏👏👏 Read more here
