Highlights
I'm hiring! We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join the External Comms team and help us amplify all the great things athenahealth does on behalf of customers, partners, athenistas, and the wider healthcare ecosystem. It's a great role for someone who's passionate about healthcare and curing its complexities, and you get to work with a fun and scrappy team!
New year, new job! I'm delighted to share that I've joined athenahealth to lead external communications.
When Adam Brickman reached out to me late last year about a catch up and an opportunity to hear about his new role at athena, I was just kicking off my job search post maternity leave and post layoff. I do believe that things happen in the right place at the right time and our conversation led me down a path that ended in me officially joining the company in December. athenahealth is a company I’ve long followed while working at the intersection of healthcare and technology, with a fantastic mission, thriving company culture, and strong dedication to caregivers and patients. I’m excited to work with our teams, leaders, customers, and partners to tell stories that bring to life its mission of curing complexity and simplifying the practice of care.
We’re also growing the team, starting with role that will help us uplevel our narrative and visual storytelling! https://lnkd.in/dvfHmH5P
Finally on a more personal note, 2023 was a roller coaster of ups and downs and I feel for those experiencing the latest round of layoffs. As I look ahead to this new year, I'm invigorated by the opportunity to grow professionally while also preserving some of the balance I discovered during my career break last year.
