I have written about this before, but feedback to a candidate is more important than you think. A simple no is not enough! Feedback will give the candidate a good experience, whether or not they get the job. They will have a good impression of how you handled the interview process.
It gives you good employer branding in the market you’re in. Candidates talk more than you realise and if it’s a bad experience, this will affect the people you can hire. I hear candidates say all the time the companies they don't want to work with due to this. The candidate can close the door and move on and go into the next opportunity with the ability to be more equipped on what they may have been missing.
If you're working with a recruiter, they will understand more about the role and will be able to find someone a lot easier with this information.
