My TEDx talk is live: “How I overcame fatherlessness”
Hit the link in the comments to give it a watch and if it resonates with you, please like and share this post 🙏
Initially my talk was about a different topic and then as I started writing it, my dad passed away unexpectedly. I knew in that moment I had to write about my journey growing up fatherless. This talk became a place that I could channel my grief into and share my story.
It was a challenging process to be grieving and to have to write, speak and feel it every single day to prepare for the talk. I’m so grateful for this initiation - I’ve learnt so much about myself.
Growing up without a dad had a big impact on my life in so many challenging and yet beautiful ways. The absence of my dad led me to the work I’m doing today, and for that I’m grateful.
I hope that this talk will help people who have been affected by fatherlessness and inspire people to cultivate more connection in their lives.
Thank you to TEDxDaltVila, TEDx and all of the other amazing speakers ❤️🔥
