Jackie McConnell is a professional dancer currently affiliated with Diablo Ballet. Originally from Salem, Oregon, she trained at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2008.

Throughout her career, McConnell has danced with several prestigious companies. She was a member of the Nevada Ballet Theatre and toured with Bodyvox, a contemporary dance company based in Portland. In addition to her work with Diablo Ballet, where she has been performing since 2015, she has collaborated with various other companies including Company C Contemporary Ballet, Post: Ballet, Garrett and Moulton Productions, Menlowe Ballet, Oakland Ballet, and the San Francisco Opera.13

In her role at Diablo Ballet, McConnell has performed works by notable choreographers such as Val Caniparoli and George Balanchine. She has also taken on significant roles in productions like Once Upon a Time and Cinderella's Wedding, both choreographed by Julia Adam. Beyond performing, she contributes to the community as a Teaching Artist with Diablo Ballet’s PEEK Outreach Program.12
