A couple life updates!

Today was my last day at IBM iX, I'm continuing my journey to becoming a civil rights lawyer at University of Michigan Law School, and this summer I'll be interning at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division [pending a background check].

The slightly longer shpiel: I deeply enjoyed my time with IBM. I got to do meaningful, high-impact work like designing a new intake experience at homeless shelters across NYC while growing as a person and a professional, using empathy and storytelling to drive good outcomes. I was guided by absolutely incredible people who have shaped my career in ways I am still learning about–Steve, Andrew, Ash, Cristina, Carol, Yuri, Scott, Pei, Christopher, Aliya, to name a few of the many.

I'm super excited to now be at MLaw. The last four years have shown us that our country and our world need deep, systemic change. We all have a role to play in making the world more just, and I'm excited to be a part of that change. And forever, GO BLUE. #goblue
