Highlights
As some of you probably know, my sister Sami was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) when she was 11 years old. She received chemotherapy treatment and a bone marrow transplant from my dad. She is in good health today and just earned her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development, and is headed to Ball State in the Fall!
Sami's treatment was a very tough time for Sami and my family. Feeling the need to give back, my family organized a swimathon fundraising event called the Leuk-OUT to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) to help with their mission to help relieve some of the suffering of those with blood cancers and their families.
Last year we raised over $57,000 last year to benefit both the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and the Hillcrest Historic Foundation (HHF) - both are 501(c)(3) organizations.
This year, we have our sights set on $100,000 as a stretch goal, and I would like to ask for your help in reaching that goal!
I'm trying to raise at least $600 by swimming a mile and I can't do it without some help. Please consider donating on my fundraising page at https://lnkd.in/eAfci7E
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Mimir is moving to downtown Indianapolis! We are also hiring 11 new team members!
