R.I.P.

Llayd Alvarez IN MEMORIAM NOVEMBER 7, 1959 - AUGUST 6, 2024 ERC Many of us had the privilege of working with Llayd for many years, and I believe I can speak for most when I say that if we needed to describe him in one word, it would be "Service." His passion for serving others defined everything he was, making himself available to provide support in any way possible. During his 12 years with ERC, he exemplified resilience, commitment, adaptability to change, and teamwork.

Llayd loved being part of the English Readiness Course, where he poured his heart and soul into helping others improve their English proficiency, enabling them to join our new hire classes. In these sessions, he did more than just teach English; he helped his students become better professional versions of themselves, building their confidence and forging long-lasting relationships. He continued to provide follow-up and support even after they left his classroom.

Some of these students are now with us as agents, supervisors, QA, and trainers.

Llayd was incredibly proud of their progress and professional growth. On a personal level, Llayd was so much fun to be around, always joking, always smiling, and always willing to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, give advice, or even sit quietly if that was what was needed. His nature of being of service was part of him even outside the office. His legacy of service is something that will stay with us to remember him by.

We are truly lucky to have been able to work alongside Llayd, and we will cherish every memory of the moments we shared with him. He will be deeply missed.
