Thanks to Andrew Brydon for supporting this achievement!
As a longest running NEF engineer, I have been lucky to be involved from initial journey of NEF with small team providing CICD pipeline patterns to scaling into NAB wide central platform engineering solution that runs across wide range of technical capabilities all to enable application engineers to deliver their features faster and safer for our customers.
It's been an honour to have received NAB Honour for 2023 and I must say this was only possible with Andrew Brydon enabling me to perform at my best, providing great ideas and leadership. Andrew is passionate about engineering solutions throughout every aspect of NEF which resulted in all the successes we've had so far.
Personally, I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the support and the direction that he has given me.
During the NAB Honour event in Port Douglas, I was amazed by the amount of effort that has gone in to organise this very well thought out event.
I also had opportunity to speak to the ELT members as well as more than 50 new people including the ones outside the technology space. This allowed me to learn diverse perspectives that eventually impact our customers. One highlight was that with Patrick Wright I was overwhelmed by the amount of positive energy and passion I could feel from him throughout the conversation about NEF and engineering in general!
This really reassured that NEF plays a critical role in Hyper Standardisation strategy enabling many of the big rocks.
Lastly, this is not the end but only a beginning of the great journey towards "Enterprise Developer Enablement". It has been fun working with passionate and talented fellow individuals at EDE and I can't wait to see what comes as a result in near future and beyond in upcoming years!
