Highlights
My favorite part of this new e-commerce solution from our team - an easy way to order swag or branded gifts for clients or partner without having to carry and manage an inventory internally (which is even messier when sending sized apparel). 😎
I had to pick a favored quote, including the author, for a bio this week... and it became a bit of a personal exercise.
I realized that I tend to cite personal mentors whom no one has heard of (oft cited from a manager circa 2006: "you want it bad, you get it back"), or somewhat tongue-in-cheek quotes that could leave the wrong impression with those who doesn't know me... "You go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time," is great fun, but citing Rumsfeld in the context of the Iraq War... ehhh. 🤨
Having now spent too much time perusing, well, usable quotes, three stuck with me:
“There’s no shortage of remarkable ideas, what’s missing is the will to execute them.” –Seth Godin
"Details matter. It's worth waiting to get it right." –Steve Jobs
"The role of genius is not to complicate the simple, but to simplify the complicated." - Criss Jami
Can you guess which one I went with?😉 What quotes resonate with you professionally?
