Highlights
One thing we've recognized about climate finance at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation is that we won't be successful driving a just energy transition by doing more of the same.
To close the trillion-dollar climate finance gap, we have to forge new opportunities and innovate not only in the amount of capital or the kinds of technologies we're deploying, but also in the way we're financing it.
That's why I'm thrilled to announce two new senior positions -- these are unique opportunities to manage a team developing new opportunities for investment and climate finance deployment in our most pressing markets; and to cultivate innovative models for the deployment of blended finance, insurance and guaranty products, and catalytic equity and technical assistance.
