Jake Sargent is the cofounder, publisher, and board director of Atmos Magazine, a biannual publication and digital platform that explores the intersection of climate and culture. His work focuses on leveraging storytelling to inspire environmental solutions through creativity, compassion, and hope. Jake emphasizes the importance of shifting narratives around ecological crises by incorporating diverse voices, including journalists, artists, and activists, into the storytelling process.234

In addition to his role at Atmos, Jake is the founder and general partner at Magic Hour, an investment firm supporting early-stage companies dedicated to environmental progress and human wellness. He has a background in sustainable design and previously served as President and Creative Director of SIMON MILLER, a fashion brand blending Japanese aesthetics with American craftsmanship. Jake is also a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America since 2015.12

Jake attended Marin Academy (2001–2005) and earned a degree in business marketing from Loyola Marymount University in 2009.2
