His foray into classical music started at a young age and evolved into a career focused on improving classical music's digital presence and addressing identity issues within the genre.

In 2014, James founded Nouvague, a creative agency specializing in the marketing and production of classical, world, and film music, aimed at reaching new audiences through innovative messaging and visual presentation.

Transitioning to Primephonic in 2019, James contributed to building a service dedicated to celebrating and respecting the needs of classical music and its audience, collaborating with renowned performers such as Daniil Trifonov, Joyce DiDonato, and more.

An engaging and curious individual, James enjoys meaningful conversations and has spoken at various prestigious institutions and events on music industry topics.

He has been featured on BBC Radio 5 Live and in notable publications discussing diversity in music.

Beyond music, James has interests in football, cycling, political journalism, animal welfare, and social issues, including racial identity, and proudly serves as a Young Ambassador for the Prince's Trust in the UK.
