James Hall is a seasoned professional in the field of game development with over 20 years of experience.

He has an impressive track record having contributed to more than 15 AAA titles across different gaming eras.

His expertise ranges from low-level programming to high-level studio technical management.

James has excelled as the primary architect and director of an internal engine that powered over 25 different products.

His skill set includes technical leadership, big data management, game development processes, engine architecture, graphics design, low-level systems development, and optimization techniques.

As a founding partner, he played a key role in establishing Blue Castle Games, which eventually became Capcom Vancouver, and C7 Games.

James Hall was recognized for his contributions to the gaming industry by being included in Game Developer Magazine's 'Game Development 50' in 2010.

His academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Computer Science, both from the University of Regina with Luther College affiliation.

Throughout his career, James held significant positions including Senior Director Of Engineering, Director of Engineering, and Technical Director at Demonware, as well as Senior Software Development Manager and Co-Founder at Activision.

He also served as Director of Technology at Capcom Game Studio Vancouver and Software Engineer at various levels at Electronic Arts.
