James Jayo is a highly experienced editor with over 15 years of extensive hands-on experience. He has edited more than 130 books covering a wide array of categories, with a particular emphasis on practical and narrative nonfiction. James acquired a Certificate in Book Publishing from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, a Master's Degree in Editorial Studies, a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, and another Bachelor's Degree in Ancient Greek and Latin, all from Boston University. Throughout his career, James has held key editorial positions at renowned publishing houses. He currently operates as a Freelance Editor, having previously served as a Senior Editor at Penguin Random House, Editor at Sterling Publishing, Editor at Lyons Press (an imprint of Globe Pequot Press), Associate Manager of Foreign Rights for Illustrated Titles at Crown Publishing Group (a division of Random House), and Associate Editor at Arcade Publishing.
