Highlights
I had a great time last night talking to hollywood and broadway producer Julian Schlossberg with Jocelyn Kuritsky for Breaking The Audio Fiction Form through Julian Tepper and the Coffee House Club at the Salmagundi Club. One hour wasn’t nearly enough time with Mr. Schlossberg. Stay tuned for upcoming Breaking The Audio Fiction form events!
Hi Everyone!,
We still have a few (FREE) tickets left for this Wednesday’s 3rd installment of Breaking The Audio Fiction Form. Moderated by Jocelyn Kuritsky and myself, we’ll be interviewing LEGENDARY producer Julian Schlossberg. The event will take place at 6:30PM at the Salmagundi Club in NYC (47 5th Avenue). Here's the Eventbrite — https://lnkd.in/e79pP-SE to sign up for free tickets.
The bar opens at 5:30PM, the program is at 6:30PM, and dinner downstairs (not free and requires a separate RSVP) is at 7:30PM. For those who wish to stay afterwards without a dinner RSVP, there is also a bar room where drinks/small plates can be had that doesn’t require an RSVP.
Julian has worked with people like Elaine May, John Cassavetes, Elia Kazan, Susan Stroman, Mike Nichols, David Mamet, Steve Allen, among many more. During his nearly 60 years in show business, Schlossberg has worked as a producer, director, distributor, exhibitor, radio and television host, and record executive. At 27 he was the youngest head film buyer of a national theater chain; after working at the ABC network, the Walter Reade Organization, and Paramount Pictures, he would start his own motion-picture company, Castle Hill Productions, which would become one of the largest independent film-distribution companies in the world with a library of over 500 films. Not willing to restrict his efforts to film and television, he has also produced award-winning plays and musicals for Broadway and Off-Broadway. https://lnkd.in/gAVpK9Yb.
