James Sullivan, also known as Jim, is a key figure at SAP, driving the company's mission to use technology to address global economic, environmental, and societal challenges. With extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Jim has held leadership positions at Clear Standards, the US EPA, and Skadden Arps.

Jim Sullivan's background includes serving as the Director and acting Branch Chief at the US EPA, where he gained international recognition for his expertise in developing policies to tackle climate change. He brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the table, drawing from his roles across various organizations and industries.

Currently, Jim leads the Global Sustainability Innovation Accelerator at SAP, a role that allows him to leverage his experience and networks to push for impactful change in sustainability practices. In the past, he served as the Vice President of Sustainability Management & Strategy at SAP, further showcasing his commitment to environmental causes.

In addition to his corporate roles, Jim is actively engaged in the sustainability community, holding positions on the Board of Directors of the Association of Climate Change Officers and the Advisory Board of Sustainable Brands. His involvement extends to representing SAP on the Corporate Advisory Council of The Sustainability Consortium and participating in technical workgroups at the World Resources Institute.

Jim Sullivan's academic background is equally impressive, with a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy from The Johns Hopkins University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brown University. He also attended Milton Academy, rounding out his education with a diverse set of learning experiences.
