For those that follow Glue42 or are interested in desktop integration platforms, I am pleased to announce that we’ve had another incredible year. In 2022, we grew YoY revenues by more than 400% and are displacing our 'competitors' at an ever-faster rate. I would like to say a very sincere thank you to everyone in the entire company without whom this could not have happened.   We’ve learnt a lot during this last 12-months.   Integration platforms that solely rely upon the use of containers (e.g. Electron) are DEAD. If you want to distribute your single dealer platform, client portals or any combination of web-apps then you need to stop and think. Why on earth would you take a bunch of web applications and then chuck them inside a container that then needs to be installed/maintained on every user’s desktop? Surely, the benefit of web apps is that they are quick/easy to consume without installing software?!

Progressive Web Applications (PWAs) are COOL. I remember speaking to a senior exec of a global bank. We were explaining the point above and showing him Glue42 Core+ in action. When we clicked the Add to Home Screen (A2HS) button in the Chrome browser menu to re-launch our multi-app workspace to run in its own standalone window (outside of the browser UI), his immediate reaction was “<expletive here> me!”. So, again, why would you run web apps in a container when they can actually appear to look/behave like native apps thanks to the browser (and a modern integration platform)?

Clients know BEST. We did our first major client forum event earlier in the year. We had a whole load of clients speak about their projects and talk about their plans for the future. Our roadmap has now been topped up with lots of amazing new features – one of which will turn the desktop integration market upside down. More on this later…   This kind of growth requires even more hiring than I had initially planned! So, if you are at the top of your game in business-development, client-success or partner-success roles then please reach out!

Finally, if you are a developer and would like to get hands-on, then click the image and download a free trial of our latest platform Glue42 Core+   Happy New Year to Everyone! #thankyou #hiring #integration #growth #desktop #uxdesign #finjs
