Jamie Dean

Jamie Dean is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in impact investments, renewable energy, climate, and environmental sustainability.

Jamie holds a Master of Business Administration from the prestigious Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Jamie studied Environmental Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles and attended Redwood High School.

With a rich background in the non-profit sector, Jamie has held prominent roles in various organizations. Currently, Jamie serves as the Director of Impact Investments at The Schmidt Family Foundation, demonstrating a commitment to driving positive change and supporting impactful projects.

Prior to this role, Jamie contributed significantly to environmental initiatives as the Program Director for Renewable Energy and Climate, as well as the Program Manager for Climate and Energy at The 11th Hour Project. Jamie also gained valuable experience at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation in multiple capacities, including as a Program Officer, Research Fellow at the Woods Institute for the Environment, and Summer Conservation and Science Associate.

Jamie's expertise extends to certification programs, having previously worked as the Manager of Certification at Fair Trade USA. Through these roles, Jamie has developed a comprehensive skill set in sustainable practices, program management, research, and strategic decision-making, making them a valuable asset in the field of environmental sustainability and impact investing.
