Jamie Henn is the Founder and Director of Fossil Free Media, a nonprofit communications lab supporting the movement to end fossil fuels.

Previously, Jamie was the Co-founder and Strategy & Communications Director for 350.org, the world's largest grassroots climate organization, where he played a key role in the organization's growth over a decade.

During his time with 350.org, Jamie helped organize numerous climate demonstrations worldwide, fought against fossil fuel projects like the Keystone XL pipeline, spearheaded the fossil fuel divestment movement, advocated for climate action at the UN, coordinated People's Climate Marches, and organized Global Climate Strikes among other impactful initiatives.

Within 350.org, Jamie managed a global communications team, securing media coverage in top outlets like the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, and more. He also led communications for coalition efforts such as the People's Climate March and the #NoKXL campaign.

Currently, Jamie leads the communications working group for Stop the Money Pipeline, a campaign focused on ending financial support for climate-destructive activities.

Jamie's new endeavor, Fossil Free Media, provides communications support to climate-focused groups, along with various initiatives like video series, research, polling, messaging, and networks for artists and journalists.

Apart from his professional engagements, Jamie also serves on the board of 02 Utah, an environmental nonprofit in Salt Lake City, UT, where he resides.

Jamie holds a BA in History from Middlebury College and has been involved with various organizations including Clean Creatives, Peoples Climate Movement, and 350.org in different capacities.

He is a co-author of 'Fight Global Warming Now' and 'The Next Eco-Warriors', and has made appearances on major media platforms like NPR, BBC, and CNN, while actively seeking moments away from technology.
