Jamie Van Leeuwen is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Director of Youth & Community Engagement at the Emerson Collective, focusing on social justice issues like education, conservation, immigration, health care, and youth development.

With a strong background in public service, Jamie was a trusted public sector leader for 14 years under Mayor and Governor John Hickenlooper in Colorado, helping generate over $300 million in new resources for public welfare.

He is also the CEO & Founder of the Global Livingston Institute, a non-governmental organization in East Africa promoting innovative solutions to poverty.

In addition to his leadership roles, Jamie holds various academic degrees including a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Colorado Denver and has been recognized with prestigious titles like Fulbright Scholar and Woodrow Wilson International Fellow.
