Part 1 Friday marked my last day with Paramount Global (fka ViacomCBS, Viacom). I wasn’t going to write this because, unfortunately, there are many posts like this right now. I didn’t want to overwhelm the feed. However, I feel the need to publicly express my gratitude to Paramount for the past 13+ years of collegiality, camaraderie, challenges, learning and a lot of fun. The opportunities Paramount made available were invaluable (training, pro bono, industry and company events, DEI committees, Global Inclusion Week, Spark sessions, Community Day, etc.) and gave me the space to grow personally and professionally over the years. I’m a different person now than I was when I started, and I believe for the better. Being my whole self at work, and having managers who supported that, allowed me to be a more creative problem solver. I’ve also become more attuned to social issues and impactful solutions thanks to the work of my amazing clients over the years.
I’ll always appreciate my Law Dept/BALA colleagues, including (without limitation), Stephen Fefferman, Hillary Cohen, Shantel Smart, Jennifer Gershon, Peri Gray, Gail Hecht Goldenberg, Idara Edemeka, Alice K., David Stonehill, Jason Gottlieb, Pauline Wen, Karen Greenstein, Caryn Groce, Benjamin Lawson, Kittie Palakovich, @Andrea DeMarinis, Ross Weston, @Stuart Greenberg, Shannon Zhu, Teronse Miller II, Gus Sanchez, Jessica Levine, Polin Mardirossian, Amanda Wolfe, Carolyn A. Hampton, Stacey Toyoaki, Homa Akram, Ian J.
