Time for something new!    Almost seven years after founding Zenhomes/Vermietet.de (von ImmoScout24).de, and two years after our exit to ImmoScout24 / Scout24 Gruppe, the journey continues.    I am an entrepreneur and innovator at heart. It has always been my goal to create a digital ecosystem for real estate in Germany.    With over one million units managed on Vermietet.de, Zenhomes is on course to be part of that ecosystem under the roof of Germany’s largest real estate platform. This means that my job at Zenhomes is done. Christoph Barniske who has already been instrumental in the integration of the two companies will from now on head Zenhomes as Managing Director.    It’s time to say thank you. To you my dear Zenhomers, for your hard work, dedication and support. To those who dared to embark on this journey right from the beginning (I am talking to you Dmytro Dzifuta 🇺🇦 and Felix Kaiser) and all the great investors who supported us on the way.

And of course, last but not the very bit least, I big ‘danke‘ to the colleagues at Scout who put all this trust in us. I wish you all the very best for the future!

Building, scaling and selling a company is never easy, and Zenhomes was no exception. Without all of you, this would have never been possible. Thank you all.    And I? I am a builder, a creator. I need to be out on the field and “put a dent in the universe”. So after a short break taking some time to reflect and recharge …it will be upwards and onwards once more, off to the next challenge! Already having some great things in mind - so stay tuned!    Per aspera ad astra!

Thank you Tobias Hartmann, Dirk Schmelzer,Ralf Weitz, Dr. Thomas Schroeter, Florian Blaesche, Jakob Schroeder, Jekaterina Cechini, Stefan Pohl, Georg Untersalmberger, Dominik Kümmel, Vivien Stöber, Nadja Kunz, Anastasia Klepikova, Simon Sołtysiak (they/them), Natalia Sokalska, Luccas Menezes, Nikola Stoilkovski,Kai Panitzki & Manfred Heid, Roman Stein, Mark Harré (he/him), Simon Bartmann, Christian Angermayer, Christoph Osburg, Johannes Stiber, Tim Fischer FRICS & Juana Sacristan Palacios, Joern-Carlos Kuntze, Dr. Marc Rustige & Dr. Philipp Raidt and of course all other Zenhomers, Scouts and Investors!

"Im Wesentlichen geht es um die Menschen, mit denen man gearbeitet hat." - warum mir das wichtig ist durfte ich mit Jakob Schulz im aktuellen Property Podcast besprechen. Darüber hinaus geht es um Stationen meiner unternehmerischer Reise, die Entstehung und Skalierung von Zenhomes und warum wir beim Thema Wohnen einen Generationenkonflikt vermeiden müssen.

Danke Jakob für das inspirierende Gespräch!
