I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Business Development Manager at PAIRIN!
How do you schedule your day? 🗓️
I often see high-performers schedule every moment of their work day. Each second is accounted for and packed from 9-5 with meetings and tasks, and maybe a short lunch.
Great in theory! But I am curious how do you stay focused and productive throughout the day with this regimen? From what I've experienced, there is an inevitable crash and fatigue from this schedule because there is no time for breaks.
We are not robots. 🤖
Here are some ways that I've found helpful to break up my day:
- Add in 15-minute breaks to your calendar in between work tasks
- Make those breaks restorative (walk outside, closing your eyes for non-sleep rest, meditating).
- Take a long walk at lunch or workout
- Schedule cognitively challenging tasks early in the day, and less challenging tasks and meetings for later in the day.
Integrate some of these ⬆️ practices and I promise you will be much more productive and happier as a result. 🤗
