Jas Johl is a versatile Indian-American writer, researcher, and painter known for her experimental short fiction. With a background rooted in a family of immigrant farmers turned factory workers from Punjab, India, Johl has defied the odds to achieve success in academia, technology, government, and the literary world.

Jas Johl's educational journey includes a Master of Science in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Theory & Philosophy and Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley.

Throughout her career, Jas has held various influential roles such as being a Visiting Policy Fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute, a Senior Advisor in the California government, and a Principal Architect & Global Impact Officer at Salesforce. Her passion for societal change and equity has also seen her involvement with organizations like the Roosevelt Institute and the New Leaders Council.
