With a strong commitment to mental health, Jason has contributed significantly in government relations and business development for organizations aiding youth mental health, like the Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre.

Co-Founder and Director of Pride Cup, a successful social enterprise promoting LGBTIQ inclusivity in sports with substantial support from various sectors, Jason has spearheaded initiatives raising significant funds and driving impactful change.

Having contested in federal elections as a Greens candidate for the seat of Higgins, Jason led influential grassroots campaigns focusing on critical issues such as climate action and reducing inequality, reshaping the electoral landscape through media attention and community engagement.

Currently serving as a Reporting and Systems Manager at Scope, a leading not-for-profit disability service provider in Australia, Jason continues his impactful work in the social sector.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Melbourne, and a background in various roles including grant-making, quality systems management, public speaking, and project leadership, Jason Ball OAM stands as a prominent figure driving positive change in society.
