Alright Resource Managers... it's your time to shine.

I'm looking for 3-4 of y'all to start work by the end of the month. I need a couple of temp/freelance folks who are a little more junior (maybe 1-3 years) and another 1-2 mid-level folks who will most likely be perm hires.

No job postings to link just yet, but in short, we’re in the process of standing up a number of teams to support a large influx of new product development needs with a very large, complex, high-visibility client and project scope and talent needs are shifting on a daily basis. These RMs will be partnered with the project PM leads and brand teams to build and maintain a living, breathing "source of truth" to track all of the talent movement, update org charts/reporting relationships, and just generally keep an accurate, up-to-date, realtime status of all staffing for the project.

There are still some moving parts here that I hope to finalize no later than tomorrow morning and should have more definitive answers then. However, here's what I expect for these roles:

  • They will likely be hybrid in some capacity although I'm not certain which markets we'll be targeting; I'm guessing NYC/CHI/Philly will be the preference, but don't let that be a barrier for you, at least for now.
  • Hourly rates for the temp roles should be in the $30-$40/hr range; salary for the perm role(s) in the $70k-$90k range.
  • Length of engagement for the temp roles should be in the 4-6 month range.
  • Previous ad agency experience will most likely be STRONGLY preferred, although work within a consultancy (like Deloitte) should also work.

I will come back to update this post once I am able to lock all of this in

If you (or someone you know) may be interested, reach out to me NO LATER THAN EOD 4/19 (preferably sooner) at [email protected]. Please include 1) your resume (I mean, duh.); 2) your current location; 3) your preference for temp/contract vs. perm; 4) your availability to start work; 5) your hourly rate/annual salary requirements; and 6) your availability to speak with me tomorrow/Friday.

This... well, this is going to move quickly. So buckle up and let's do this thing.

EDIT: No 3rd party agencies, please. I love y'all (truly), but it's not happening for these roles.

What up, Recruiter friends - been a minute! We don't get much of a chance to chat these days but that maaaaay change.

I've heard rumors from some little birdies here at Publicis Groupe that we may be looking to hire a couple (or maybe even a few?) Recruiters in the coming weeks. Details right now are sparse but my suspicion is that the ask will be for folks who are relatively senior (maybe 5+ years of experience or so) and who have worked in hybrid recruiter/account manager kinds of roles in staffing agencies, ad agencies, or larger/complex corporate environments. Roles supported will almost certainly be some combination of freelance/direct hire creative (design/copy), creative tech (front-end dev/data/analytics), UX/product design, strategy, media, account/client services, bizdev, and program/project/product management.

Just to be clear, nothing is approved, locked in, finalized, or ready to hire just yet. I don't have a sense of timing for when the search will officially kick off (although this definitely isn't a Start Next Monday sort of situation). I'm not certain which brand(s) here will actually be doing the hiring. Oh, and comp? Also, currently unknown. Heck, I can't even guarantee that we WILL hire these folks. I'm a wealth of information, I know.

For now, I'm just sort of shaking the tree to see who is out there. My goal is to build a small pool of trusted people that I know are on the market and looking, preferably folks I have direct connection with - maybe we've worked together, you've tried to hire me or I've tried to hire you, we went to college together, something like that. Also open to referrals from people who fit that bill - maybe you're a CD that I've worked with somewhere and you have that 1 go-to recruiting partner that you know you can always lean on to find you the right person for your roles, for example. As long as I can personally and comfortably vouch for the person, I'm down. When/if these roles do officially open, I'll be on the hunt for more general candidates. For the time being though... let's keep this between us 😉 🤫 🕵‍♂️

If you (or someone you know and trust) may be interested, shoot a resume and (general) salary ask over to me at [email protected]. Definitely feel free to ask any questions you'd like but for now you can expect my answer to most likely be ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Thanks in advance... look forward to catching up!
