Jason Grauer is a former Economics major from Tufts University who transitioned from the financial industry to pursue a career in sustainable agriculture.

After working in asset management in Manhattan and Miami, Jason dedicated his time to learning and working with farmers and chefs, ultimately founding www.HaveYouEverPickedACarrot.com to share his knowledge.

He gave up his corporate career in 2011 to work full-time in farming at the Stone Barns Center, under the mentorship of renowned figures like Jack Algiere and Dan Barber.

Jason ventured into consultancy and hands-on farming experiences at various establishments like Eli Zabar's Vinegar Factory, Four Season Farm, and Cornell University.

His passion for entrepreneurship and sustainable agriculture led to the creation of PickACarrot.com, focusing on technology tools for farms and educational initiatives.

Jason has expertise in farm management, business development, team leadership, carpentry, greenhouse consulting, public speaking, client relations, sales, writing, reporting, and photography.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University and has been involved in various roles at organizations like Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture, Sagra, and Cornell University.
