🔥 Friday trends for People teams!
We saw some "back to school" energy this week with both People leaders and end learners. Here were a few in-platform trends we're watching at Electives:
-
A tech company partner kicked off their annual "well-being month" for employees with live classes focused on self-care and personal development throughout September.
-
A People team in CA booked a "Learning Summit" for their team - a full day of live, virtual learning in October!
-
Manager training is trending and "Emotional Intelligence Unleashed" is a recent favorite.
-
Top DEI trends: Hispanic Heritage Month sessions for teams at the end of September/early October and World Mental Health Day on October 10th
-
The buzz words of the week in meetings: "high performance culture training"
-
Top performing sessions this week: two classes closed the week with an NPS of +100 👏 --> Neurodiversity: Thriving at Work and 5 Steps to Financial Wellness
-
Learner insight: "Some of these Electives need to be longer. One hour does not do justice for all topics." --> when your employees feel like they don't have time truly want to spend more time in training... 😍
Cool news...an ask...and a present!
Cool news: We released a newly designed Electives Membership experience yesterday to make finding the right class easier for employees!
Ask: we're looking for 10-12 people who would be up for a ~15-minute user research interview to see how the new class layout and filters feel in terms of finding relevant class content. You might be thinking...are you the right person to be interviewed? If you've ever been an employee and taken any kind of training at work, you are the right person!
Present: at the end of the interview, you can sign up for any 2 live classes that caught your eye during the testing. You will also get a huge 'thank you' for your invaluable feedback! 😊
If you are up for a quick interview, drop a "Happy to!" or any other note in the comments and we will schedule it for a time that works well for you! 🙏
