Thanks to the American taxpayer, I went to the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business on the Post 9/11 GI Bill from 2009-11. The most influential class I took was taught at night by a former Lead International Hostage Negotiator for the FBI, Christopher Voss. I was drawn to his class because I figured there would be a common thread between us given that we had both served our country, and I was right. We've been friends for almost 15 years, long before he wrote Never Split the Difference (a 5 Star must read) or created a MasterClass on Negotiations, which is a must watch. He was GORUCK Cadre once, even, at an event that never happened -- a story for another day.

Today at 12 noon EST, he's interviewing me, and he's one of the best interviewers on any planet. Anything is fair game, it's up to him. To tune in, here's the link to join: https://f.chat/6RMD

We're going live at 12 noon EST. Join us for the conversation on Fireside. (For free access, visit Chris on IG in his stories - where he's also a great follow https://lnkd.in/eKqQMsyH).

RUCK MEETINGS Real world, in person ruck meetings - this is the way. DM’s and Zoom alone and you’re just another line in a spreadsheet somewhere. The benefit of a ruck meeting is that you can exercise AND talk at the same time.

GORUCK has worked with GOVX forever. It’s easy to support partners who support those who serve. But this is the first time we’ve met face to face for a ruck meeting - 10K steps on the beach first thing in the morning and the connection is already a lot stronger. So, sure — do the deals with the online partners, but the more you know them as people, the stronger the foundation will become. You might even get a sweet patch out of it :)

Aaron Pelander - thanks for making the trip to Jacksonville Beach. Time well spent. #rucking #goruck #govx #jaxbeach
