Prior to co-founding The Nashton Company, Pananos served as the President and Co-CEO of Vector Disease Acquisition, a holding company providing vector-borne disease prevention programs and lake management services.23 Under his leadership, the company made 14 acquisitions and grew at a CAGR of 43% before being acquired by Rentokil Initial in November 2017.234 Vector Disease Control grew from approximately $7 million to $50 million in revenue in seven years through these acquisitions.6

Pananos earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School in 2008 and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2002.1235 He also studied at Emerson College.1 He lives in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, with his wife Danielle and their four children.234
