Jason Pappas

FSU Sport Management Professor & Experiential Learning Coordinator | Co-Author of Masters of the Game

Jason Pappas is a distinguished faculty member in the Department of Sport Management at Florida State University with over twenty years of experience in the sport industry.

His teaching style focuses on relating real-world industry experience to students, emphasizing experiential learning and practical application of theoretical knowledge.

Jason serves as the faculty advisor for the Sport Management Student Organization, guiding and mentoring students, organizing networking trips, and facilitating interactions with industry professionals to enhance students' understanding of the sport industry.

He holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Southern California, along with master's degrees in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of South Carolina and Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Corporate Communications from Florida State University.

Jason's previous roles include Teaching Professor, Associate Teaching Professor, and Assistant Teaching Professor at Florida State University, as well as roles as an Associate Athletic Director at Florida State University, and as an Assistant Athletic Director at both the University of Southern California and the University of South Carolina.
