The name 53 Stations is important to us. It is an acknowledgement that we, as founders, are beginning a journey. Our journey has no end in sight. It is the continuous pursuit of Wisdom and the unending challenge of applying that earned Wisdom on behalf of our Partners. We don’t have all the answers, but we are committed to waking up every day with a Student Mindset: humble, curious, focused, and willing to put in the work required to learn and add value.
There are countless people I want to thank, from whom we have had the opportunity to learn so far. Special shout out to the entire The Pritzker Organization Team, Rob Strobel at Lithko Contracting, Michael G. Kulp at KBP Brands, JJ Schickel at Omni Logistics, Henry T. Zhang at Emergence Software, Jeffery David (JD) Matthew Hanson, CFA and Mark Hanson at Black Buffalo Inc., Jeff Cantalupo at Listen Ventures and Edward Segel from Floating Point and Paul Hsu from Decasonic. Also, to the entire Chicago venture ecosystem, we are excited to be joining the party. Thanks Michael Fassnacht for having us!
