Highlights
🚀 Thrilled to be at The New York Times headquarters this week, with over 800 of our engineers, product development teams and other colleagues for Maker Week, our annual hackathon! To help fulfill The Times’s mission – to seek the truth and help people understand the world – our tech and product organization builds digital products that meet millions of people’s most important news and life needs. At Maker Week, colleagues from across our organization are given dedicated time and space to think more expansively about how we can do that.
Maker Week is our chance to explore and experiment with new ideas, technologies and products, free from the constraints of everyday schedules and to-do lists. I can’t wait to see what our colleagues create this year.
I’m looking forward to taking the stage at the 2024 Sapphire Ventures Hypergrowth Engineering Summit on June 13 in San Francisco, diving deep into key leadership principles and leveraging my own experiences from previous roles and my current one leading The New York Times engineering team.
For software engineers and technical leaders looking to connect and discuss the major themes shaping our industry today — don't miss out!
