Jay Lee is a highly respected individual who has made significant contributions to the fields of Intelligent Maintenance Systems (IMS), Industrial AI, and smart manufacturing.

He serves as the Vice Chairman and Board Member at Foxconn Technology Group in Milwaukee, WI, and has held prestigious positions such as the Ohio Eminent Scholar and W Alter Chair Professor in Advanced Manufacturing at the University of Cincinnati, where he is currently on leave.

As the Founding Director of the NSF Industry/University Cooperative Research Center on IMS and the Industrial AI Center, Jay Lee has been at the forefront of developing cutting-edge technologies in predictive analytics and prognostics and health management (PHM) for industrial internet transformation.

He is a key member of various influential councils and boards, including the Global Future Council on Advanced Manufacturing and Production at the World Economic Forum and the Board of Governors of Manufacturing Leadership Council at NAM.

Jay Lee is known for his innovative concepts in E-Manufacturing, E-Maintenance, Predictive Manufacturing, Industrial AI, and more, with a strong focus on Intelligent Maintenance Systems and Industrial Big Data.

Having served as a Senior Advisor to McKinsey and being the inventor of the 'Dominant Innovation' Methodology, Jay Lee is recognized for his groundbreaking work in product and service innovation design.

He has also co-founded several predictive analytics startups, including Predictronics, and has been acknowledged as one of the most visionary leaders in smart manufacturing by SME Smart Manufacturing Magazine.

Jay Lee's contributions to the field have been recognized through various accolades, including being named one of the 30 most visionary leaders in smart manufacturing in 2016 and one of the 20 most influential professors in smart manufacturing in 2020.

In 2020, he published the book 'Industrial AI' through Springer, and his Industry 4.0 and Industrial AI papers have garnered significant attention in SME Manufacturing Letters.
