His academic achievements align with his current professional path, where he brings a methodological rigor from social sciences to the realm of cooperation. With over 4 years of field experience, including past project management roles in the Northwest Territories and Bas-Saint-Laurent, Jean-Baptiste has specialized knowledge in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in emergency situations, having received training from the Water, Engineering, and Development Centre (WEDC) in Loughborough, England.

He is well-versed in SPHERE standards and has extensive experience in managing humanitarian crisis programs in various contexts such as food crises in Niger (2010), epidemics in Haiti (2011), the Democratic Republic of the Congo (2013), and Guinea (2014), armed conflicts in the Central African Republic (2014), floods in Pakistan (2012), and population displacement in Chad (2012).
