Jean-Luc Perron is dedicated to promoting social entrepreneurship, responsible finance, and impact investing through his work at Centre Yunus Paris and the Convergences platform.

With a strong passion for combating poverty and financial exclusion, Jean-Luc founded the Grameen Credit Agricole Foundation in 2008, inspired by Professor M. Yunus, focusing on microfinance and social business in developing countries.

Having led the Foundation until September 2016, he expanded its operations across 30 of the world's poorest countries, predominantly in Africa and Southeast Asia.

Before his involvement with the Foundation, Jean-Luc held various leadership positions within the Credit Agricole Group, including roles in international partnerships and consultancy.

Upon graduating from Ecole nationale d'Administration, he served as the Budget Chief and financial advisor to Minister Michel Rocard.

Jean-Luc Perron also completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University, along with studying law, philosophy, and other disciplines at prestigious institutions like Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III).
