Prior to his current position, he worked at the urban development agency of Cergy-Pontoise (EPA Cergy-Pontoise), where he was instrumental in various urban planning endeavors. He also held the position of project leader for the Grand Louvre, a prestigious cultural project in Paris. His extensive experience at SNCF, where he spent 15 years transmitting expertise on large-scale projects, further enhances his robust portfolio. His role as Director of Strategy and Sustainable Development at the Île-de-France Regional Equipment Authority (DREIF) stands out, where he developed the '@d'aménagement durable' tool to facilitate local adaptation to sustainable transition, a project endorsed by the Association of Mayors of Île-de-France.
In addition to his influential work in urban planning and sustainability, Jean-Michel Vincent has dedicated a portion of his career to education.
