Jeanette Bisschops is an independent Dutch curator, art critic, and writer based in New York City. She served as a Curatorial Fellow at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York from March 2020 to November 2020. Prior to this, she was a Curatorial Assistant for Time-Based Media at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam from 2016 to 2019. Jeanette holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Maastricht University and another Master's in Art History from the University of Amsterdam.134

Her curatorial work often explores contemporary themes, as demonstrated by her involvement in exhibitions such as "State of Flux" at Silverlens New York, which examined humor and shapeshifting as responses to contemporary geopolitics.2 Jeanette's practice focuses on expanding and challenging dominant narratives within the art world.4
