Highlights
I was honored to give one of the keynote speeches today at the National ACE small business annual conference under the leadership of Chiling Tong, highlighting the accomplishments of the U.S. Department of the Treasury in addressing access to capital and our interest in continuing to work on solutions to foster the success of all small businesses, especially those owned by women and people of color.
I was also thrilled to share more about the important work of Janis Bowdler and our Advisory Committee on Racial Equity (on which President and CEO Tong serves), Jessica Milano, Jeff Stout, Karyn Bruggeman and the Office of Capital Access, the work of Pravina Raghavan and the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund), and that of Jeanne Milliken Bonds and the Office of Community and Economic Development.
Many thanks to Scott, ELIZABETH, Liang, Manisha, Casey, and Jack for driving this work forward. 🎉

Today, I was thrilled to participate in a roundtable on title insurance with our Federal Insurance Office Director Steven E. Seitz, Acting Assistant Secretary Laurie Schaffer, Philip Goodman, and Brooke Stringer, and hear views from many stakeholders on this important topic.
As noted in the release, FIO was tasked with convening the roundtable in connection with President Biden’s call for federal agencies to take all available actions to lower home closing costs and help more Americans access homeownership. #fio #homeowners
